Summary

A grand walk with a good approach to Bleaklow.

The route starts at KingsTree and walks down the road to Westend Valley. Here you leave the road and walk up the length of the valley onto the Bleanklow plateau and on to Bleaklow Stones. From here you walk round Deep Grain to Grinah Stones and continues to Barrow Stones. You then drop down into Derwent Valley and walk down its length to Slippery Stones and onto the Kings Tree an the car.

Route finding is straight forward until you get to the top part of the Westend Valley. Here there are no paths onto Bleaklow or across the plateau to the Stones. From Bleaklow Stones the route is clear to Barrow Stones but then generally pathless down to the River Derwent. Once you hit the river there is a good path/track back to Kings Tree.
