Summary

The route start at Edale and walks up to the bottom of Ringing Rodger before tracking belwo it and up to Ollerbrook Clough and the Kinder Plateau. The route traverses the plateau via the trig point and aircraft wreackage to Blackden Edge. From the north side of Kinder the route takes you along the northern edge of Kinder to Crookstone Knoll then down to Hope Cross and up to Win Hill. This id followed by a sharp descent into Hope and the cafe before you climb up Lose Hill and along The Ridge to Hollins Cross. From Hollins Cross you drp down to Mam Farm then walk the old Mam Tor road to Mam Nab before descending to Edale

A nice walk that can be done in good or poor weather with interesting features at the start ( the Halifax aircraft wreck ) and the end ( the old Mam Tor road).

The route finding is reasonably easy and the only section without a path is when you traverse Kinder plateau.

The day we did the walk the weather was foul and were few people out, even on The Ridge; which goes to show that you can go on popular walks and see nobody; but only when the weather is bad!
