From here the route climbs out of Wharfedale to Horse Head Gate before dropping down into Littondale and Halton Gill. The next section walks down beautiful Littondale following the line of the Skirfare passing Nether Hesleden and Litton to Arncliffe. Finally you climb out of Littondale to Middlesmoor Pasture before dropping down into Wharfedale and Kettlewell. An excellent walk with good views from the tops and the fantastic atmosphere of two magnificent Dales - Wharfedale and Littondale. Along the whole length of the walk there is plenty of interesting wildlife and fauna in the spring and summer. The route is easy to follow following good paths that are well marked.
